Frequently asked questions
Do we need to apply to the grid operator for power?
It depends how much power is needed and what already exists on site. Fixed outlets in a square often cover a small market, but as soon as many exhibitors have heat, cooling or cooking, a temporary connection is usually required. That process takes time — start weeks ahead, not the day before.
How much power does an exhibitor stand need?
A stand with lighting and a card terminal needs little. A food truck with fryers, cooling and coffee can draw more than the rest of the market combined. We always ask what will actually be plugged in — not only how many stands — because the sum of appliances decides how boards are set up.
